Healing Hands of Mercy Massage Foundation (HHMMF) was established as result of a goal Joey Gall                                had while she was recovering from a life-threatening illness.

Watch the video below to learn how it all began.

HHMMF, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization started during Joey's recovery in May and June of 2008. After her experience in the               hospital, she realized how many people have needs that may not be met with traditional treatment or covered by insurance. Once she realized this, it became her mission to provide free massage therapy to those in need.

Itzel Vargas                                   LMT Itzel  Vargas is a gifted massage therapist with more than four years experience in soft-tissue manipulation, as well as a deep understanding of body kinetics. She is well-versed in a variety of modalities, and she is always learning as much as she can to improve her techniques. Her passion for the geriatric community has been essential in her work with HHMMF, and she is very sensitive to the extra care and needs that come with this specific demographic. Itzel is also bilingual, which helps us reach an additional population. Her quiet disposition, gentle presence, and faith have made her a staple when working with hospice patients and their families. Itzel is our most "traveled" therapist, as it seems no location is too far for her to go in NWA. She is literally willing to "go the extra mile" to help those in need, often in time-sensitive situations.
